KIRTAN

11 AM - 12 45 PM

Kirtan is a practice where participants engage in call-and-response chanting of ancient Sanskrit mantras. This immersion in sacred sounds helps us rise above the stress and concerns of everyday life. No need for special singing abilities or familiarity with Sanskrit—only a genuine intention and an open heart are needed.

We warmly invite everyone to join this communal practice in the temple room on Saturday.

AARTI

12 45 PM - 1  PM
Aarti is a vibrant and devotional ritual that combines the offering of light with dynamic musical elements. During this ceremony, devotees participate in the chanting of sacred mantras while engaging in rhythmic dance and music. The ritual is accompanied by traditional instruments such as the mridanga, a drum that provides a deep, resonant beat, and the kartal, a pair of hand cymbals that add a bright, ringing sound. Together, these instruments create a lively and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
